Natural ingredients can always impact the eventual color of your candles. Because fragrance oils often include ingredients like vanillin, citrus oils, and cinnamon that vary from batch to batch, you might find your candles discoloring over time. There’s nothing wrong with the fragrance oil itself—it’s just a common variable when using natural ingredients.
To help reduce or eliminate discoloration, try adding a drop or two of Ivory Liquid Dye to your soy wax which produces the same color as natural soy wax. You can also try decreasing the fragrance load in your candles.
