Micas can be mixed directly into your personal care base. To make the mica easier to use, you can try mixing it in a liquid before adding it to the base.

If your recipe already calls for an oil or extract, measure your mica into a cup along with the oil and mix well. When using a melt and pour base, you can combine the mica powder in a 1:1 ratio with 90% isopropyl alcohol or vegetable glycerin if you will not use additional oils.
