As you know, CandleScience ships customer orders via UPS and USPS throughout the U.S. To help cancel the CO2 produced from transportation, we have purchased “carbon credits” that offset 100% of the CO2 released. These credits support and fund projects that either prevent CO2 from being released or actively remove it from the atmosphere. One example would be wind farms that produce clean energy and reforestation which helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In this way, CandleScience is doing its part to have a less negative impact on the environment.
