How do I prevent all the bubbles in my finished soap?

  • Updated

Melt and pour soap is prone to air bubbles, so it’s best to stir slowly, gently and as little as possible. It’s a good idea to have a spray bottle with Isopropyl Alcohol 91% on hand when making your soap. A quick spritz will break up the bubbles. If you see the surface of your soap pot covered in bubbles, go ahead and give it a quick spritz before you pour. Then spray the surface of the soap again after you’ve poured to eliminate as many bubbles as possible.
