What is the difference between the White and Clear Melt and Pour bases?

  • Updated

White melt and pour bases have titanium dioxide added to them to produce the white, opaque appearance.

White melt and pour bases will hide many of the flaws in your soap, like trapped air bubbles, but it also will produce more pastel shades of color.

The clear (transparent) or translucent bases are great for making bold colors, adding embeds, or making a unique layered look.

The clear bases can have titanium dioxide added to them to help produce the opaque, white color making the clear bases a very versatile option.
